(MCS) started its activities on the 6th of June of 2001, as a result of a partnership betweenx Seguradora Lusitania Companhia de Seguros, o Grupo Montepio, a GCP - Sociedade de Controlo e Gestão de Participações, o INSS - Instituto Nacional de Segurança Nacional, o Grupo Visabeira, among other investors, as part of a group of pioneering insurance companies, with private capital, initiating its’ activities in Mozambique.
