Moçambique Companhia de Seguros, S.A. (MCS) began its operations on June 6th, 2001, as the result of a partnership between Grupo Montepio, GCP – Sociedade de Controlo e Gestão de Participações, INSS – Instituto Nacional de Segurança Social, Grupo Visabeira, and other investors, as part of a group of pioneering insurance companies with private capital, marking the beginning of their activities in Mozambique’s insurance sector.
